India-Iran Relations: Recently, many rumors and misleading claims are coming out on social media regarding the alleged US attacks on Iran's nuclear bases. Attempts are being made to weaken the strong relations between India and Iran through some fake channels and social media accounts. These claims say that the US used India's airspace to attack Iran's nuclear bases, which is completely baseless and false. The Iranian Embassy in India has categorically rejected these claims and termed them fake.

The Iranian Embassy in India has advised people to be cautious of these misleading claims through a post on its official X account. The embassy has described it as a well-planned conspiracy to damage the decades-long friendly relations between India and Iran. In its post, the Iranian Embassy wrote, "Some fake channels and social media accounts are trying to spoil India-Iran relations in the name of Iran. These accounts are not related to Iran and the information being spread through them is completely false."

The embassy also shared screenshots of several fake accounts in its post, which made misleading and provocative claims. The purpose of these fake accounts is to create confusion among the people and promote distrust between the two countries.

Purpose of rumors

These misleading claims are not only trying to create tension between India and Iran, but are also promoting the spread of misinformation at the regional and global level. Experts believe that behind spreading such rumors there may be geopolitical interests of some countries or groups, who want to undermine the strategic partnership between India and Iran. India and Iran have deep ties in important areas such as the Chabahar port project and energy cooperation, which are important for regional stability and economic development.

India's position

The Indian government has always given priority to balance and peace in its foreign policy. India has followed the policy of non-interference in the internal affairs of any country and has strengthened its relations with Iran to promote regional stability. There is no basis for these fake claims that India allowed the US to use its airspace. India has always chosen the path of diplomacy and dialogue instead of war and violence.

The Iranian Embassy has appealed to the people to get information only from official and reliable sources and not to believe such misleading news. Also, the embassy has sought cooperation from the people to identify fake accounts and complain about them.
