Punjab News: The holidays of police officers and employees in Punjab have been suddenly cancelled. An order has been issued in this regard from the DGP office. In a message sent from the DGP's office to all police offices in the state, the leaves of all gazetted and non-gazetted officials have been canceled till April 14.

Holidays canceled with immediate effect

All department heads of police have been ordered not to sanction any kind of leave till April 14, 2023. Along with this, all the previously approved holidays have also been canceled with immediate effect.

In recent times, especially after the Amritpal Singh case came to the fore, apprehensions about the security arrangements in Punjab have started deepening. The danger of the state once again coming under the grip of terror and extremism may increase. In view of this, the administration is strengthening its preparations at every level.
