New Delhi : A SpiceJet flight from Delhi to Mumbai survived a crash landing at the Mumbai airport on Monday morning. According to the information, after landing, it was found that the tire of the plane had burst. However, it is a matter of relief that no major accident happened. A SpiceJet spokesperson said that the pilots did not face any problem in landing the plane. There was no smoke coming out of the tyres. By the way, this is not the first time this year that an aircraft has faced trouble in landing.

The plane had landed at nine in the morning

According to the information, flight number SG-8701 took off from Delhi to Mumbai at 7.30 am. The plane landed on Mumbai's Main Runway 27 at 9 am. After landing here, it was found that the tire of the plane had burst. Thereafter the main runway was closed for observation of the incident. During this, the flight of two other planes that landed here were also postponed. In this regard, a SpiceJet spokesperson said that the aircraft had managed to land safely. It was parked in the parking lot fixed by ATC. Neither the pilots nor the passengers experienced any discomfort during the landing. According to the spokesman, there was no smoke coming out of the tire of the plane.

Bangalore to Male (Maldives) Go First flight had to make an emergency landing at Coimbatore airport. It is being told that 92 passengers were on board the flight. Later, all of them were sent to Male from Coimbatore airport on another flight today. According to airport officials, an emergency landing had to be made due to some engine failure.

Earlier on August 5, a plane had to make an emergency landing in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. A bird collided with a Vistara Airlines plane going from Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport here to Mumbai. After the bird hit, the pilot immediately contacted ATC. After that the plane made an emergency landing at Varanasi airport.

A similar incident had come to light on 4th August also. On this day a GoFirst Airlines flight took off for Chandigarh. But he had to return to the Ahmedabad airport after hitting a bird.

June 19

SpiceJet's engine caught fire after take-off from Patna to Delhi and the plane carrying 184 passengers made an emergency landing minutes later. Actually the engine was damaged due to the collision of a bird with the plane.
