IPL 2022 / SRH vs LSG Live Score: Rahul, Hooda, Avesh shine as Lucknow beat Hyderabad to record second straight win

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has won the 12th match of IPL played at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. This is his second consecutive win in the tournament. While batting first, Lucknow had given a target of 170 to SRH. SRH's team could only score 157 runs. Avesh Khan 4 and Jason Holder took 3 wickets for Lucknow.


Rahul's 50th fifty

LSG captain KL Rahul completed his fifty in 40 balls while playing a wonderful innings in difficult conditions. This was his 28th in IPL and 50th overall in this format. He was dismissed LBW off Natarajan for 68 off 50 balls. Rahul instantly became the sixth player from India to score 50 half-centuries in cricket. Before him, the names of Virat Kohli (75), Rohit Sharma (69), Shikhar Dhawan (63), Gautam Gambhir (53) and Suresh Raina (51) come.


Hooda's 5th fifty

Deepak Hooda played a fine innings and completed his fifth fifty in IPL and second half-century this season in 31 balls. This is the first time that he has scored two Fifty+ scores in an IPL season. He was dismissed for 51 off 33 balls by Shepherd.


Rahul and Hooda's Super Partnership

Lucknow had lost the first 3 wickets for only 27 runs. After this, for the fourth wicket, captain KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda added 87 runs in 61 balls to bring the team back in the match. The pair was broken by Shepherd by dismissing Hooda.


Fours hit at the pace of Umran

Umran Malik spent 20 runs in the 10th over. He bowled the first ball at a speed of 148 kmph, on which Hooda hit a four at deep cover. After this, KL Rahul hit two amazing fours on the third and fourth balls of the over. The third ball came at a speed of 151 and KL cut it late and hit a four on the third man. The speed of the fourth ball was 145, on which Rahul hit a four at the extra cover.


Washington's 100th T20 match

This is the 100th T20 match of Washington Sundar and he took 2 wickets for 28 runs in 4 overs while bowling amazingly. On the fourth ball of the first over of his spell, he dismissed Quinton de Kock (1). His catch was caught by Kane Williamson at the catch cover. After this, in the very next over, Sundar dismissed Lewis (1) LBW.


Pandey failed in front of Shepherd

Manish Pandey scored 11 runs in 10 balls and was dismissed by Romario Shepherd. Manish went to punch Shepherd's ball, but the ball went straight to mid-on and Bhuvneshwar Kumar took a brilliant catch. He then took the wicket of Deepak Hooda in the 16th over, who was looking aggressive after hitting 50.
