During this period, the price of onion has increased from Rs 36.7 per kg to Rs 220.4 per kg. The average price of boiler chicken has come down from Rs 210.1 per kg to Rs 383.5 per kg. Apart from this, the price of salt has increased from Rs 32.9 per kg to Rs 49.1 per kg.

There has also been a steep increase in the prices of other items in the list. In this, the price of basmati rice has increased from Rs 100.3 per kg to Rs 146.6 per kg, the price of mustard oil has increased from Rs 374.6 per liter to Rs 532.5 and the price of milk has reached Rs 149.7 per liter instead of Rs 114.8 per liter. The situation of inflation is such that people are not even able to take support of bread when wheat bread is missing from the plate. The price of bread in the country has increased from Rs 65.1 to Rs 89.
