Karnataka Elections: After the results of the Karnataka assembly elections, now everyone's eyes are fixed on the announcement of the name of the Chief Minister. Everyone is thinking that on whose head the sky is going to be decorated as the CM of the state. While on one hand the supporters of Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar are feeling that their leader's name will be carried forward, on the other hand the supporters of former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah also want to see him as the CM once again.

According to sources, if everything goes well, the next Chief Minister along with his cabinet is going to take oath on May 18. Actually, there has been a meeting of the Legislature Party in Bengaluru. In this meeting, all the MLAs said in one voice that the decision regarding the Chief Minister will be taken by the party president Mallikarjun Kharge. Kharge is currently present in Delhi. It was being said that he can meet the high command on Sunday, but nothing like this has happened.

There is no tussle regarding CM in Congress

Congress MP and leader present in Bengaluru K. C. Venugopal says that the process of taking opinion of MLAs will be completed in the night. It is a unanimous resolution moved by Siddaramaiah and seconded by D.K. It was supported by all the senior leaders including Shivkumar. On the other hand, Randeep Singh Surjewala says that two resolutions were brought in the Congress Legislature Party meeting in which the people of Karnataka were thanked and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge would elect the leader of the Congress Legislature Party.

Before the Legislature Party meeting, Surjewala held a separate meeting with Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar. Here, Mallikarjun Kharge can meet Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi tomorrow. He says that three observers have been appointed, who have been sent to Bengaluru and will submit the report to the high command after conducting an opinion poll. After getting the report, further strategy will be decided. The picture will be clear on the CM face in the next three to four days. At present, no dispute has come to the fore within the party regarding the CM. Everything is going well.

Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka should be a Muslim - Waqf Board chief

At the same time, Muslim leaders of Sunni Ulama Board have demanded that the post of Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka should be given to the winning candidates of their community. They have also demanded that the five Muslim MLAs should be made ministers with good portfolios like Home, Revenue, Health and other departments. Waqf Board Chairman Shafi Saadi says that he had said before the election that the Deputy Chief Minister should be a Muslim and he should be given 30 seats, but got 15 seats out of which 9 Muslim candidates won. In about 72 Vidhan Sabhas, the Congress has won completely because of the Muslims. As a community, we have given a lot to the Congress. Now the time has come to get something in return.
