V Senthil Balaji / Tamil Nadu Electricity Minister started crying bitterly when ED arrested him, his condition worsened and he was admitted

V Senthil Balaji: Tamil Nadu Energy Minister V Senthil Balaji is facing investigation in a money laundering case. ED officials took him into custody on Wednesday morning. As soon as the officers started taking him with them, he burst into tears. A day earlier, the ED had raided the premises associated with the minister. After this, ED took him to Omandurar Government Hospital in Chennai for medical examination. High voltage drama was seen there too. There he was lying on the seat of the car and moaning. Like they are in pain. He was getting restless. Meanwhile, his supporters also came there.

As soon as the ED was taking V Senthil Balaji into custody for questioning, he started crying loudly. After this his health deteriorated. ED officials immediately took him to the hospital. His supporters raised slogans outside the hospital. Slogans started being raised against ED. When his supporters gathered there. Energy Minister was lying in the car and was seen moaning. DMK MP and lawyer NR Elango told that Senthil Balaji has been shifted to ICU.

Earlier on Tuesday, ED raided the house of Senthil Balaji. Apart from Erode, searches were also conducted in Karur, Balaji's home district. ED officials also searched Balaji's office room in the secretariat.

Allegations of DMK leaders

The DMK leader said that the ED has not officially confirmed the arrest of Balaji. He told that when he reached the hospital, he saw that Senthil Balaji had been transferred to the ICU. Doctors are treating. Only the doctor can tell what is his condition. The DMK MP said that it looks as if he was assaulted. The doctor should prepare the report properly. All injury marks also need to be noted. It will be known officially only after the report comes.

Admit in hospital late night

As per the process, ED should be informed before arrest. Accusing the ED, the MP said that the minister was put under house arrest yesterday at seven in the morning. From morning till 2.30 pm on 14th June, no friend, relative, lawyer was allowed to meet. Suddenly at two o'clock he was taken to the hospital. The MP said that it seemed that he was not conscious when he was admitted.

Complaint of chest pain

DMK minister Udhayanidhi Stalin said that he (V Senthil Balaji) is currently undergoing treatment. We will take the support of the law against all this happening. We are not going to be afraid of the BJP led government. These people are doing threatening politics. DMK leaders alleged that when the ED officials took them into custody, they were having chest pain. He was not conscious while being taken to the hospital. Amidst all this, there is an influx of big leaders of the state government outside the hospital.
