Team India Squad: The Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) has announced Team India for the upcoming limited overs series against Sri Lanka. In the official statement issued by the BCCI, different captains and teams have been selected for the T20 and ODI series. Hardik Pandya has been made the captain for the T20 series and Rohit Sharma for the ODI series. While giving big responsibility to Suryakumar Yadav, he has been declared as the vice-captain for the T20 series. Surprisingly, Rishabh Pant will not be a part of both the series. Whereas Sanju Samson will play only in T20 series.

Mukesh got place for T20 series

Talking about the T20 squad, the captaincy of the 16-player team will be in the hands of Hardik Pandya. Ishaan Kishan and Sanju Samson will remain as wicketkeepers in this team. While Rituraj Gaikwad, Shubman Gill, Rahul Tripathi will play the role of batsman. Whereas Deepak Hooda, Washington Sundar, Akshar Patel, Harshal Patel have been included in the team as all-rounders. Talking about bowling, it will be in the hands of Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik, Shivam Mavi and Mukesh Kumar.

Rohit returns to ODI team after injury

If you look at the ODI team, the responsibility of this team of 16 players will be in the hands of Rohit Sharma. Whereas Hardik Pandya will be his deputy here. Apart from these two players, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul, Ishaan Kishan will also be a part of the team. Apart from Umran and Arshdeep in the bowlers, both Mohammad Siraj and Mohammad Shami will be seen here. While the pair of Kuldeep and Chahal will also be seen playing together.
