The steel tip and steel core bullets (Armor Piercing Bullets) used by terrorists have become a challenge for the army. In a recent encounter, terrorists used bullets. These bullets are also going out by ripping the level-3 bullet proof jacket. Now the army has started ordering level-4 bullet proof jackets.

60 to 90 terrorists entered Jammu and Kashmir

Lt Gen DP Pandey, GOC of the Army's 15th Corps based in Srinagar, said that we are capable of dealing with any situation. According to sources in the intelligence agencies, at least 60 to 90 terrorists from Poonch-Rajori belt of Jammu and some areas of Kashmir Valley are also coming to the fore. Evidence of this is being told in the killing of 15 foreign terrorists in different encounters in the valley since January. All these foreign terrorists were killed in South and Central Kashmir, where till now only local terrorists were being seen.

Of the 62 terrorists killed this year, 15 were foreigners.

Of the 184 terrorists killed in 2021, only 20 were foreigners, while 15 of the 62 terrorists killed in the four months of 2022 were foreigners. This increased figure is proof that Pakistan has once again started pushing terrorists into the Kashmir Valley to revive the dwindling terrorism in Kashmir.

Started ordering level 4 bullet proof jackets for security forces

Not only this, the steel tip and steel core bullets used by the US Army are the most lethal of the weapons used by terrorists, because their use has rendered the Level 3 bullet proof jacket used in the Indian Army useless. These bullets, also known as armor piercing bullets, break through the bullet proof jacket, so now the army has started procuring level 4 bullet proof jackets for security forces in anti-terror operations.

Ace revealed the truth of bullets

On 21 April 2022, in an encounter at Malwah village of Kunjar in Baramulla district, the bullets fired by the terrorists broke through the bullet proof jacket of the Major. This information was given by an officer involved in the operation. This revealed that the terrorists were armed with steel-tipped armor piercing bullets. As soon as the soldiers were able to recover in the terrorist attack, the trapped foreign terrorists managed to escape by breaking the cordon.
