The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Amrej. This 19-year-old youth was a laborer, who was a resident of Besad village of Madhepura district in Bihar. His father's name is said to be Mohammad Jalil.

He was brought to the hospital to save the deceased, but he died during treatment.
