Bollywood | Ajay Devgan's upcoming film 'Thank God' seems to be in trouble. Ever since the trailer of the film came out, it is being opposed. The film is being accused of allegedly hurting religious sentiments. First, the boycott trend was seen on social media regarding the film. Then there was a complaint in Uttar Pradesh against the film's cast and director Inder Kumar. Now the latest information is that the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in Karnataka has objected to the trailer.

'Thank God' stars Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles along with Ajay Devgn. In the film, Ajay Devgan plays the character of Chitragupta, who accounts for the sins and virtues of all after death. According to India Today, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti spokesperson Mohan Gowda said, “The actors in the trailer were seen making fun of Hindu deities. We will never tolerate mockery of Chitragupta and Lord Yama of Hinduism in the name of freedom of expression. Was the censor board sleeping till the release of this trailer?'

The institute has demanded that the censor board should not give certificates to the film. He also said that the state and central home ministries should ban the film as it has hurt religious sentiments. He warned that they would protest on the streets.

Ramesh Shinde, national spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti said, “Bollywood always seems to be working against Hinduism. Be it a movie like PK or a movie like the upcoming Thank God. Everywhere Hindu deities are depicted in the form of humorous humor. Hindu deities, Hinduism or Hindu texts, are always being played around with. Why don't you follow the religious sentiments of Hindus? We oppose the release of the film.

Let us tell you that Thank God has been directed by Indra Kumar. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series. The film will release in cinemas on October 25.
