According to the information, on December 30, three youths of the village tried to rape a 26-year-old woman in a village in Gulriha area. When the woman protested, the Haiwans beat her mercilessly. The woman was two months pregnant at that time.


She had a miscarriage 15 days after the beating. After this his condition deteriorated so much that it did not recover again. He was also admitted to BRD Medical College for treatment, but to no avail. Due to poverty, she could not go to the medical college for regular treatment.


It kept getting worse. On Wednesday, suddenly his health got worse. The family took him to the medical college. The doctors were treating when the woman died in the meantime. Angered by the death of the woman, the family members took the dead body to the house of the main accused and started demanding action.


On getting information about the matter, the police also reached the spot and pacified the family by assuring action. The body has been sent for post-mortem. Police force has been deployed in the village.
