To take advantage of the scheme, the applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh. The name of this scheme run by the UP government is Shadi Anudan Yojana. The annual income of a resident of rural area should not exceed Rs 46800 and for urban area should not exceed Rs 56400.

The applicant must have Aadhar card. Along with the income certificate of the applicant, it is necessary to have the age proof of the couple who are getting married. It is necessary to have an account in a government bank. So that the amount of grant received can go directly to the bank account. This account should be linked with Aadhaar.

Caste Certificate Mandatory

If the applicant belongs to OBC / SC / ST category then it is necessary to have caste certificate. It is not needed for other castes. The amount of grant received by the government can be withdrawn only 90 days before the daughter's marriage or after 90 days.

To take advantage of the scheme, registration has to be done by visiting the UP government website shadianudan.upsdc.gov.in. The application will be processed on the home page of the website by going to the new registration option and providing the requested information and documents.

Similarly, 51 thousand rupees are given by the central government for the marriage of daughters under the 'Shadi Shagun Yojana'. But this scheme is only for the minority families of the country. To take advantage of this scheme, it is necessary for the girl to do graduation before marriage. Another condition of this scheme is that only those Muslim girls who have received Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship at school level can get it.
