UP / The Governor of Meghalaya raged on the Centre, said the farmers' movement has not been stopped, the law on MSP has been made

Meerut. Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik on Monday targeted the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that the pace at which unemployment and inflation are rising in the country is going to create a crisis in the country. On speaking against the government while holding the post of governor, Satya Pal Malik bluntly said that the real thing is to stay with the government and also raise questions. He said that if I raise a wrong question, then the day the Prime Minister says that you should quit, I will leave the post of Governor.

Addressing his felicitation function organized by Meerut Bar Association at Pt. Nanak Chand Auditorium, Malik said that no leader in the whole country is ready to speak on unemployment and rising inflation. If the Government of India wants, inflation can be reduced by reducing taxes. Even in a country like Pakistan, diesel or petrol is not as expensive as in our India.

Will fight for farmers after retirement

Malik, who was a student of Meerut College, has also indicated to join active politics. He said that after retirement, along with the fight of farmers, I will also fight for the High Court bench in western Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, taking a jibe at the central government, he said that even if an animal dies in Delhi, a condolence message is also issued for it, but how many farmers died during the farmers' agitation but no message was given from the government's side. He said that he also met the Prime Minister in this regard. Malik said that later the Prime Minister took steps in the interest of the farmers, but even till now a law on Minimum Support Price (MSP) has not been enacted. Whereas the government should know that the farmers' movement is stalled and not over and it can take a bigger form anytime.

Along with this, referring to the incident of hoisting the flag at the Red Fort in Delhi during the farmers' movement, he said that it was not the fault of the boys who hoisted the flag at the Red Fort, because that flag did not belong to any party. The Governor said that they hoisted the 'Nishan Sahib' under which thousands of Sikhs made sacrifices, so it is not an unholy flag. On the issue of Gyanvapi Masjid in Varanasi, Malik said that the issue of Gyanvapi Masjid is being raised to divert attention from the issues of the people.
