World News: General elections are to be held in India's neighboring country. Before these elections, a big statement has come from the Home Minister of this country. He has said that we will not tolerate any anti-India activity from the soil of our country. This statement has come just before the general elections on January 7. According to the information, voting for general elections is on January 7 in Bangladesh. Earlier, Bangladesh Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan has given a big statement. He has said that as long as there is Awami League government in Bangladesh, anti-India activities or terrorism will not be tolerated in Bangladesh. The Bangladeshi Home Minister also said that India should not be troubled by China's investment in Bangladesh and the relations between India and Bangladesh will become stronger in the coming days.

Elections will be conducted impartially, says Sheikh Hasina's minister

In a telephone interview with PTI, the senior minister in the Sheikh Hasina government said that fair and transparent elections will be held on January 7 under the Awami League government. He said that the opposition party BNP has announced boycott of the elections due to fear of defeat. BNP has demanded that a caretaker government be formed before the elections, but due to the demand not being met, BNP has boycotted the elections.

Anti-India activities increase under BNP government

Asaduzzaman Khan said that during the tenure of BNP and Jamaat, anti-India elements were promoted in Bangladesh. We eliminated them after coming to power. As long as our party (Awami League) is in power, we will not tolerate anti-India activities in our country. The Home Minister also said that after BNP comes to power, there is a possibility of increase in anti-India activities. He said that Bangladesh's relations with India are special because India played an important role in Bangladesh's freedom struggle.

Said this on growing relations with China

On China's increasing investment in Bangladesh, Asaduzzaman said that India need not be worried about it. The relations between India and Bangladesh cannot be compared with anything. China is investing in our power plants and infrastructure but our relations with India are different and it will not affect our relations. The Awami League government led by Sheikh Hasina has been in power in Bangladesh since 2008.
