A murder case has been reported from Jodhpur in Rajasthan, where the husband strangled his wife to death with the sword. This incident is being reported late on Sunday. After the murder, he himself reached the police station and informed the police about the murder of his wife. Upon reaching the spot, the police captured the body and sent it for postmortem. The matter is now being investigated after questioning the accused.

This case is related to the village of Piparli of Luni police station in Jodhpur. It is being told that the husband was suspicious of the character of his wife, due to which he carried out the murder. On Sunday itself, he had reached his wife from Pihar, where late in the night he cut his wife's neck with a sword. The accused has admitted to committing this incident.

Police have taken the body and kept it in the fronts of Mathuradas Mathur Hospital. At the same time, prima facie the case is being told about an illegal relationship. After the incident, Boranada ACP Mangilal Rathod reached the spot and started the investigation. The bloodied body of the wife was lying on the bed. The FSL team was also called there later to investigate.

The main reason behind the murder is that the accused person used to doubt the character of his wife. This was his second marriage and he also had a child with his first wife. But she did not have any children from her second marriage. Late on Sunday night, there was a fight between the two over something and he strangled his wife to death.

Police have also recovered a blood-soaked sword from the spot, police say, adding that the accused has been arrested and the case is being investigated. Parents of the deceased woman have been informed of the incident. After the post mortem, the body will be handed over to the next of kin.
