At the same time, giving responsibility to Satish Poonia, the deputy leader of the opposition has been elected.

Today is a very important day for the politics of Rajasthan, because a big announcement has been made in the BJP Legislature Party meeting today. If sources are to be believed, Rajendra Rathore could be the Leader of the Opposition, there was discussion earlier as well. Has been.

BJP Legislature Party meeting was indicated by BJP MLA whip Jogeshwar Garg about Rathore's name being approved. Will be discussed with all the MLAs. There, the name of the Leader of the Opposition will be stamped. On Rajendra Rathore's name, Garg Rathore is a natural choice, he spends full time in the house. CP Joshi had already opened it by tweeting.

BJP cards. And in Jaipur, BJP State President CP Joshi has given a statement. Joshi said that there is an introductory meeting with the office bearers. The further strategy of the party will also be prepared in the meetings. BJP is fully prepared for the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections, the party is fully prepared for the mission 2023-2024.

It is said in the BJP that if anyone in the BJP can understand the politics of Ashok Gehlot, then it is Rajendra Rathore. Rathore is the master of floor management in the assembly. Many times cleverly he has created a crisis in front of the ruling party. Many times the ministers of the Congress government have been stuck in their questions.

While speaking on serious topics in the House, his style of taking a pinch in between is also very popular. Rathore, who played an active role from Sadak to Sadan, was given the command of the opposition legislators after Gulab Chand Kataria became the Governor of Assam.

When father and brother could not meet Rathod in jail

In October 2006, during the Vasundhara Raje government, the Special Operation Group (SOG) had encountered liquor smuggler Darasingh alias Daria. Describing the encounter as fake, Daria's wife Sushila Devi alleged that the police staged a fake encounter to kill Dara Singh at the behest of Rajendra Rathore.

On the petition of Sushila Devi, the Supreme Court handed over the investigation of the case to the CBI. On this, on April 23, 2010, the CBI registered a case and started investigation. In this case, the CBI had accused 17 people including Rajendra Rathod, the then ADG AK Jain. Rathore had to go to jail in April 2012.

In Jaipur Jail, Rathod stayed in the same cell in which Mahipal Maderna, a minister in the Gehlot government accused of kidnapping and murder of Bhanwari Devi, was lodged. They were given rugs and pillows to sleep on. The court had also allowed home food for him in the jail, but he started a hunger strike regarding the filth, dirty water, dirty toilets etc. in the jail.

Father Uttamchand and brother Raghuveer, who came to meet Rathore in jail, were not allowed to meet Rathore. Food was sent from home for Rathod, but he refused to eat. After the persuasion of the jail administration, he had dinner in the evening. Mahipal slept near Maderna in the night with a blanket and pillow.

Rathore had made public the names of 91 MLAs who resigned

It was Rajendra Rathore who took the resignation dispute that started after the rebellion in the Rajasthan Congress on September 25 to the High Court. In his petition, he objected to the Speaker not accepting the resignations of 91 MLAs.

The High Court also became strict on Rathore's petition. The High Court also asked for the names of all the MLAs who had resigned. Sensing the High Court's stand, the Congress hastily got the resignations of all its MLAs returned. Had the Congress not done so, a big crisis could have arisen.

He said in the House – Where Congress is less, there are also less donkeys… what a coincidence

In the House, Rathore raised serious issues several times and took jibes at the Congress in between. The most popular quip was when last year he was drawing the attention of the House on the dwindling number of donkeys. He said what kind of coincidence is this, wherever the Congress is losing, the number of donkeys is decreasing there.

He said that in the 20th livestock census, there has been a huge decrease in the number of donkeys in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Manipur, Uttarakhand. It is a coincidence that Congress is losing in states where donkeys are decreasing. I am worried that earlier the horns of donkeys used to disappear, but here only donkeys are disappearing. What will happen here in the elections after two years?

Inverted circle on Adani...to show elephant's tusks and to eat

Congress has always been an attacker on the central government regarding Adani. Rajendra Rathore has besieged the Gehlot government many times in the last two years regarding Adani. He even said that I want to say one thing to this Hindenburg man, there are some elephant teeth to show and others to eat.

He had said that stop looting the land of Rajasthan to Adani. Targeting the Gehlot government, it was said that 900 bighas of land was given to Adani in Fatehpur in 2019-20, then 25 thousand bighas in 2020-21, then 400 bighas in Simbhada of Jaisalmer in 2022, 38 thousand bighas in Karalia, then in Fatehgarh. 13 thousand bigha was also given in Mohangarh and 75 thousand bigha land is still pending approval in the cabinet. The files of 74 thousand bighas are lying with the Revenue Minister.

Political journey... Third, came on number one after second

Rathore, a resident of Harpalsar in Churu district, remained active in student politics in Jaipur. He was given a ticket by the Janata Party from Taranagar in the 1980 assembly elections. They lost badly and finished at number three. After this, Janata Dal again gave a chance in 1885, they fought fiercely, but remained at number two.

Rathore was also a troubleshooter and was also suspended

Rajendra Rathore is one of the most experienced members of the Legislative Assembly, having served as a cabinet minister twice in the BJP's Vasundhara government and as deputy chief whip in 1990-93. Rathore worked as a troubleshooter for the BJP's Vasundhara Raje government several times.

In Raje's first term, when allegations were leveled against Lalit Modi, Rathore used to come forward and counter the attacks of the Congress.

In the year 2009, there was a boil in the BJP while in the opposition, then Rajendra Rathod was involved in Vasundhara Raje's closeness and he took the front. During that time Raje was the leader of the opposition, the BJP high command had asked for her resignation. Raje did not resign from the post of Leader of Opposition for about 6 months. For this, there was also a show of strength regarding the MLAs in Delhi.

Then Rajendra Rathore and Rohitashv Sharma had given a statement that if Vasundhara Raje was removed, they would leave the party and could also form a new party. Considering this statement as indiscipline, Rathore and Gyandev Ahuja were also suspended.

Although Vasundhara Raje resigned from the post of Leader of the Opposition in February 2010 under pressure from the party, but a year later Vasundhara Raje was reinstated as the Leader of the Opposition.
