In Ichhanpur village of Assandh area of ​​Karnal, a young man shot and killed his maternal grandfather and aunt with his maternal grandfather's gun. The accused carried out this incident around 11 pm on Monday night. After the incident the accused fled from the spot. It is being told that the accused Fateh Singh has carried out this incident due to land dispute. At present, the police is investigating this entire matter.

Villagers told that the accused Fateh Singh lived with his maternal grandfather Joginder Singh since childhood. Fateh Singh's aunt Prabhjot had come on Monday. In the night, they got into an argument over something. During this, Fateh Singh picked up the gun of his maternal grandfather Joginder Singh (70) and fired one bullet on his head and the other in the stomach. When Prabhjot intervened, the accused shot him too. After this, another aunt Sarabjit Kaur came in the middle and the accused fired at her as well. But the bullet hit the wall and its shrapnel hit the woman's face. She got injured by this. Thereafter the accused absconded. The injured woman is being treated at Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College. Several teams of police including CIA Assandh are conducting raids to nab the accused.

Nana had adopted the accused

Villagers say that the deceased Joginder Singh has only four daughters. For this reason, Joginder adopted Fateh Singh, the son of his elder daughter, at the age of two. It was Nana who raised him and raised him. It is being told that Nana had also got about 16 acres of land done in the name of the accused, but the accused started taking drugs. That is why Nana was intimidating him that he would divide the land among his daughters. In this dispute, the accused killed the maternal grandfather and aunt.

In the village Ichhanpur, two people were reported to have been shot dead. Post-mortem is being conducted by taking both the bodies in their possession. Raids are being conducted to nab the accused.
