Karnal: Electricity Corporation has provided great relief to the consumers. Now electricity bill will be sent to the consumers every month. This plan of the Electricity Corporation will benefit both the corporation and the consumer.

The electricity corporation will benefit that the condition of the villages can be checked every month to control the line loss, on the other hand the consumers will get freedom from surcharge. Let us inform that in case of above 250 units in the collected unit of two months, electricity consumers had to pay surcharge.

Unit cost less, electricity bill higher

Consumers used to complain that they have spent less unit and the bill has come more, so the electricity corporation has taken this step to overcome such problems.

This issue was also raised in the meeting of Citizens' Grievance regarding sending electricity bill every month and electricity officials were asked to consider in this regard.

These would be three advantages

1 In this case, the consumer will save 4.30 paise per unit.

2. If electricity bill comes every month, then less unit will be spent and it will be easy for the consumer to pay.

3. If the consumer pays 1500 rupees for two months, then the bill will be halved every month. In such a situation, instead of giving 1500 together, it will be easier to give 750 rupees.

3.98 lakh consumers will benefit

If the plan to pay electricity bills every month comes to fruition, more than 3 lakh 98 thousand consumers of the district will be benefited. Under 'Mhara Gaon-Jagmag Gaon' in the district, the work of sending electricity bills every month has started in 252 villages.

Keeping in mind the convenience of the consumers, we have started trying to send electricity bill every month. Now it is being expanded.
