Maharashtra Politics: In the politics of Maharashtra, a war of political supremacy has started between uncle and nephew. Uncle Sharad Pawar and nephew Ajit Pawar have stood opposite each other. Ajit Pawar has joined the BJP coalition government along with 40 NCP MLAs. In such a situation, the uncle-nephew have entered the Supreme Court for a legal battle between the public and the people on the road to take over the NCP. Whenever there is a fight between uncle and nephew in the politics of the country, it is always the nephew who has the upper hand. In such a situation, now it has to be seen whether Ajit Pawar will be able to defeat uncle Sharad Pawar by raising the flag of rebellion?

Sharad Pawar vs Ajit Pawar

NCP chief Sharad Pawar, who is called the uncrowned king of Maharashtra's politics, handed over his legacy to daughter Supriya Sule, while nephew Ajit Pawar took a rebellious stand. Ajit Pawar was seeing himself as the political heir of Sharad Pawar, as he was active in Maharashtra for the last three and a half decades while Sharad Pawar was keeping himself in national politics. Sharad Pawar made his daughter Supriya Sule the working president of NCP, while Ajit Pawar became the Deputy Chief Minister by supporting the BJP alliance with 40 NCP MLAs.

Ajit Pawar has dominated the NCP in the same way that Eknath Shinde dominated the Shiv Sena last year. In this way, after the rebellion of Ajit Pawar, Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule are empty handed in the same way as Uddhav Thackeray's situation was after the rebellion in Shiv Sena. In the current political battle, the nephew is getting the upper hand over the uncle, because all the strong lieutenants of Sharad Pawar are standing with Ajit Pawar. Have gone with Ajit Pawar from MLA to Parliament. In such a situation, Sharad Pawar is now talking about making the party stand again.

Akhilesh Yadav vs Shivpal Yadav

In the politics of Uttar Pradesh also, the whole country has seen the rivalry between uncle and nephew. In 2016, swords were drawn between uncle Shivpal Yadav and nephew Akhilesh Yadav over the political legacy of Mulayam Singh Yadav. Shivpal Yadav along with his supporters had separated from the Samajwadi Party and formed his own party, but Akhilesh Yadav succeeded in establishing himself as Mulayam Singh's successor. Shivpal Yadav failed to prove himself as the heir of Mulayam Singh Yadav. Shivpal Yadav contested from Firozabad in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, but could not win. Not only this, the supporters whom he made to contest the elections, could not even save their deposits.

Akhilesh Yadav, along with keeping his hold on the SP, has also established himself as an alternative to the BJP in UP. At the same time, the leaders accompanying Shivpal Yadav returned home, due to which he had to contest the elections in 2022 together with the SP and after the death of Mulayam Singh, his party had to merge with the SP. Even though uncle Shivpal Yadav raised the flag of rebellion against nephew Akhilesh, but when the nephew was overwhelmed, he did not delay in surrendering and accepted Akhilesh Yadav as his leader. In this way, Shivpal was seen helpless in front of Akhilesh Yadav.

Abhay Chautala Vs Dushyant Chautala

In Haryana politics too, there was a war of political supremacy between uncle and nephew. Chaudhary Devilal's legacy was taken forward by Om Prakash Chautala. Om Prakash Chautala brought his two sons Ajay Chautala and Abhay Chautala into politics. Both brothers were at one time pivotal in Haryana's politics, but when Om Prakash Chautala and his elder son Ajay Chautala went to jail in the education recruitment scam, INLD's command came into the hands of Abhay Chautala.

Ajay Chautala brought his sons Dushyant Chautala and Digvijay Chautala into politics. When Dushyant Chautala reached Parliament after winning the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, his political rivalry with uncle Abhay Chautala also intensified. There was such a fight for political supremacy between uncle and nephew that the party got divided into two factions. Abhay Chautala expelled Dushyant Chautala and Digvijay Chautala from the party. In such a situation, Ajay Chautala together with his two sons formed a separate party named JJP. In the 2019 assembly elections, the politics of Abhay Chautala, who was heading the INLD, collapsed while nephew Dushyant emerged as the kingmaker. Dushyant Chautala's party won 10 MLAs and became Deputy Chief Minister by supporting the BJP government. In this way, even in the politics of Haryana, nephew prevailed over uncle.

Pashupati Vs Chirag Paswan

Political swords have been drawn between uncle and nephew regarding the legacy of Ram Vilas Paswan in the politics of Bihar. After the death of Ram Vilas, a political war broke out between uncle Pashupati Paras and nephew Chirag Paswan. Being the brother of Ram Vilas Paswan, Pashupati Paras was staking his claim and Chirag Paswan was asserting his rights as being the son. In such a situation, except for Chirag, Pashupati joined the rest of the LJP MPs and staked a claim on LJP. Chirag Paswan was isolated while Pashupati became a minister at the Center in place of his brother. Pashupati Paras may have been overshadowed after the LJP split into two factions, but Chirag has succeeded to a great extent in establishing himself as the political heir of Ram Vilas Paswan. In such a situation, Chirag Paswan is now again increasing his closeness with BJP.

Bal Thackeray Vs Raj Thackeray

In the politics of Maharashtra, not only Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar, but Bal Thackeray and his nephew Raj Thackeray have also gone against each other. Ajit Pawar may have dominated the politics of NCP, but in the Shiv Sena, the nephew had to be defeated in the uncle-nephew fight. Raj Thackeray, who lived like a shadow with Bale Thackeray, considered himself his political heir, but when Bal Thackeray handed over the command of the party to his son Uddhav Thackeray, Raj Thackeray separated from the Shiv Sena and formed his own party. Raj Thackeray may have formed the party, but could not establish himself politically. Uddhav Thackeray proved himself as the political heir of Bal Thackeray, but became weak as soon as he sat on the throne of power. The Shiv Sena split into two factions and Eknath Shinde captured the Shiv Sena of the party leaders.
