Lok Sabha Elections: On the last day of the campaign for the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections, Sonia Gandhi has released a video message appealing to the people of Delhi to vote. Sonia Gandhi said, “My dear people of Delhi, this is a very important election. This election is an election to save the democracy and constitution of the country. This election is being fought on issues like unemployment, inflation, attack on constitutional institutions. You have to play your role in this fight.”

Gandhi, the former president of Congress and chairperson of UPA, has appealed to the people of Delhi in favor of the candidates of Congress and India Alliance, saying, "Your every vote will create employment, reduce inflation, empower women and create a golden age." Will create an India of parity and equality in the future. I appeal to you to make the candidates of Congress and INDIA alliance victorious on all the seven seats of Delhi with huge votes.

Voting is to be held on Saturday, May 25 in the sixth phase on all seven Lok Sabha seats of Delhi. This time Bharatiya Janata Party is trying to make a clean sweep like last time. Congress is contesting the elections in alliance with Aam Aadmi Party to stop BJP. In seat sharing, three Lok Sabha constituencies went to Congress while four to Aam Aadmi Party. North East Delhi seat remains a hot seat. Here, Manoj Tiwari, who is hoping to win for the third consecutive time on the ticket of Bharatiya Janata Party, is facing a tough competition from Kanhaiya Kumar of Congress.
