Pictures before and after landing on the lunar surface were also taken by the camera of the lander Vikram. A video of the rover Pragyan walking on the lunar surface was also captured by the camera mounted on the lander Vikram. This picture of Lander Vikram was taken by Rover Pragyan this morning. This picture was taken by the rover from its onboard navigation camera.

Confirmation of presence of oxygen and sulfur on the moon

Earlier, ISRO gave important information on Tuesday that an instrument mounted on Chandrayaan-3's rover Pragyan has clearly confirmed the presence of sulfur in the surface near the Moon's south pole. ISRO also said that the instrument also detected aluminium, calcium, iron, chromium, titanium, manganese, silicon and oxygen as expected.

The search for hydrogen continues

ISRO shared the information on social media platform X. He said- 'The Laser Driven Breakdown Spectroscope (LIBS) instrument mounted on the rover has clearly confirmed the presence of sulfur in the surface near the south pole of the Moon. As expected aluminum, calcium, iron, chromium, titanium, manganese, silicon And oxygen has also been detected. The search for hydrogen continues. The LIBS instrument has been developed at the Laboratory of Electro-Optics Systems (LEOS)/ISRO, Bengaluru. ISRO said, 'In-depth investigation is going on regarding the presence of hydrogen.'
