Cowin has developed a new API, which is named 'Know Your Customer's/Client's Vaccination Status'. To use this API, a person has to enter his/her mobile number and name. With the introduction of vaccination this year across the country, more than 72 crore vaccine doses have been given to the people so far. Covin is already digitally issuing Vaccination Certificates to every individual to certify the vaccination. This certificate can be stored on a digital device (smartphone, tablet, laptop).
This can be shared anywhere later as proof of vaccination if needed. This certificate can be used at all entry points including offices, public events and malls etc. At the same time, it happens that the organization only wants to know whether a person has been vaccinated or not. In such a situation, this new API of Covin is of great use in some situations. If an employer is interested to know the status of the vacancy of his employees, then he will not need to ask for a certificate from him.
Railway ticketing can be used at airportsIf the Railways wants to know the status of those passengers who are reserving their seats in the train, then 'Know Your Customer Vaccination Status' will come in handy. At the same time, airlines also want to know the status of passengers booking tickets, then they can use it. At the same time, passengers passing through the airport can also be given permission after knowing the status of vaccination.
Why service is necessaryAccording to the statement issued by the government, socio-economic activities are being resumed while maintaining the safety of all.
