A bike-riding couple and their two-month-old daughter were hit by an unidentified vehicle while returning from a function late on Wednesday night near village Pepla on Bhola-Meerut road in Janikhurd, Meerut. All three died on the spot in the accident. Police sent the bodies for post-mortem. The family members have lodged a complaint against the unknown driver.
Gaje Singh (27), a resident of Pathanpura village of Thana Kankarkheda, had gone to attend the wedding anniversary program in village Sisoula Khurd on Wednesday evening along with wife Anju (24) and two-month-old daughter Priya. Late in the night, Gaje Singh was returning to Pathanpura with his wife and daughter by bike. An unknown vehicle rammed into his bike near village Pepla Idrishpur. All three were seriously injured in the accident. A truck driver passing by informed the police about the accident. When the police reached the spot, all three were dead. Relative Kapil has lodged an accident report at Jani police station.

He lost a lot of blood. By the time the police reached the spot, all had died. Gaje Singh was also wearing a helmet. He suffered a severe chest injury in the accident.
Left two and a half year old son at homeGaje Singh had left his two-and-a-half-year-old son at home with his relatives. On getting information about the incident in the night, the whole family came to the spot. The relatives kept on mourning for hours after clinging to the dead bodies.
