War continues between Russia and Ukraine

The war between Russia and Ukraine (Russia-Ukraine War) is entering a new phase. Kyiv dealt a major blow to Russia with an offensive on parts of the east, in which Ukrainian troops entered the strategic city of Izium after six months of occupation. Just five days after Ukrainian forces launched a new offensive eastward through the Kharkiv region, Russian forces were forced to evacuate the strategic eastern city. President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Telegram on Sunday that the Ukrainian army had liberated Chkalovské's settlement in the Kharkiv region.
