NCP Reshuffle: What will be the effect of Sharad Pawar's latest move? This time will tell, but after this development, the stories of uncle-nephew in Indian politics are on everyone's lips. Everyone is assessing according to their own. Having discussions. Come, on the pretext of uncle Sharad-nephew Ajit, let's try to revive five such stories of the country.

Balasaheb Thackeray-Raj Thackeray

Starting from Maharashtra only. A young man used to live like a shadow with Balasaheb Thackeray, the founder of Shiv Sena. My name is Raj Thackeray. Looking at Raj's activism and relationship with Balasaheb, many times people used to consider Raj as Balasaheb's son. Balasaheb's seal was considered on Raj's political decision.

Because Uddhav Thackeray, son of Balasaheb, was neither active in politics at that time, nor was he seen representing the family and Shiv Sena in public forums. But with time, the relationship between uncle Balasaheb Thackeray and nephew Raj Thackeray started getting bitter. The process of coaxing and coaxing also went on for many rounds and finally both of them parted ways.

The command of Shiv Sena gradually came to Uddhav. In the year 2006, Raj Thackeray formed a party named Maharashtra Navnirman Sena. However, Raj Thackeray, who was very influential when he was in Shiv Sena, could not do much in politics. Uddhav, who became the CM through manipulation, could not keep the party united. Today Shiv Sena has been divided into sections due to the political ambitions of all of them. It will be interesting to see how the common people of Maharashtra help MNS, Shiv Sena Uddhav faction and Shiv Sena Shinde faction in the upcoming elections.

Shivpal Singh Yadav-Akhilesh Yadav

The role of Shivpal Singh Yadav, the younger brother of the very influential leader Mulayam Singh Yadav, who was the CM of Uttar Pradesh, has been very important in building the Samajwadi Party. Hardly anyone can deny this. But, in the year 2012 assembly elections, when the SP won with full majority, suddenly Mulayam Singh Yadav handed over the chair of CM of UP to his son Akhilesh Yadav.

After this many questions arose on Mulayam's decision. Uncle Shivpal became a minister in nephew Akhilesh's government, but soon the relationship soured. Shivpal had to step down from the cabinet before the end of his tenure. Then Shivpal formed the Progressive Samajwadi Party in front of Mulayam Singh Yadav. In between, there was talk of Shivpal joining the BJP several times.

After the Vidhan Sabha elections held in the year 2022, it was expected that the post of Leader of Opposition would remain with Shivpal. But it did not happen. Meanwhile, a sourness was again seen in the relationship between Akhilesh-Shivpal. Meanwhile, after the death of Mulayam Singh Yadav, in the by-election held on his seat, Akhilesh fielded his wife Dimple and met his uncle to clear all Gilway's grievances. After Dimple's victory, Shivpal merged his party unconditionally with SP. But, the relationship between the two is still normal, it doesn't seem like it at all.

Abhay Chautala-Dushyant Chautala

The next story is of nephew Dushyant Chautala and uncle Abhay Chautala. The Chautala family used to have political dominance in Haryana, a state adjacent to Delhi. Chaudhary Devi Lal prepared the land. He was also the CM. Later his son Om Prakash Chautala was also the CM. Both his sons Ajay-Abhay also became active in politics. When time took a turn, Om Prakash Chautala and his son Ajay Chautala went to jail. Now the way was clear for Abhay Chautala in politics but Ajay's son Dushyant became active. Two claimants of the same political legacy came face to face as uncle-nephew.

Hurt by his uncle's behavior, Dushyant formed a new party and contested the 2019 assembly elections. Uncle disappeared and nephew became the king maker of Haryana. Dushyant is the deputy CM today. He formed the BJP government with his support. Uncle Abhay is waiting for the next election.

Prakash Singh Badal-Manpreet Badal

The story of uncle Parkash Singh Badal-nephew Manpreet Badal in Punjab adjoining Haryana is no less interesting. Manpreet learned politics by staying in his uncle's lap. Became MLA at least four times on Shiromani Akali Dal ticket. He was also a minister. Took a lot of decisions. However, amid the growing activism of Parkash Singh Badal's son Sukhbir, a rift began to emerge in the relationship.

Manpreet formed a new team. Fought elections in alliance with many parties but nothing happened. Then Manpreet went to Congress along with the party. Became MLA and minister too. Recently, after leaving there, he is now in BJP. Means, after leaving the original party, the place which was there earlier could not be found anywhere.

Sharad Pawar-Ajit Pawar

The final story of uncle Sharad Pawar and nephew Ajit Pawar. The rift in this relationship started when Sharad Pawar promoted daughter Supriya Sule. Gradually the rift widened. Ha, people could not see. One day early in the morning this rift came into explosive condition when Ajit along with BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis took the oath of Deputy CM early in the morning. Sharad, an old player in politics, said as soon as he got the news that it was Ajit's personal decision. The party has nothing to do with it.

Due to non-cooperation of NCP MLAs, the government collapsed. BJP also got dirty. Then when everything started to look normal, Sharad Pawar surprised everyone by resigning from the post of NCP president. But, the script of this story was well written. The resignation was rejected in the party meeting. Then a few days ago, the letter to make two working presidents in the party became public. Supriya Sule and Praful Patel. After this decision, Ajit Pawar is now assessing his weight. It will be interesting to see what will be his next move? Will you still be with uncle or will you take a new path?
