A five-year-old boy, who was returning after playing football in a park in Chhawla area of ​​Dwarka district, died in a suspicious condition while his grandfather was badly injured. The family alleges that two youths attacked the grandfather and grandson with a rod after the scooter was touched by the bike. The grandson died a painful death in the attack while the grandfather was badly injured. On the other hand, the police is calling this whole incident a road accident.

Police say that both were injured in a bike collision, due to which the innocent lost his life. The deceased has been identified as Vidit (5). His grandfather Prem Prakash (58) was discharged from the hospital after treatment. The family has accused the police of suppressing the matter. The family members say that the police can verify the whole matter with the help of CCTV. The police handed over the body of Vidit to the family after the post-mortem on Thursday. According to the information, Vidit lived with his family in Paparawat Road, Najafgarh area. He is survived by his father Mohit Kumar, mother Anjali, a younger brother Daksh (3), grandfather Prem Prakash and grandmother Rajesh Devi. Mohit works in FCI Punjab. Prem Prakash is working in DTC. Vidit was a student of first grade. On Wednesday, Vidit and Daksh accompanied their grandfather on a scooty and went to play in a nearby park.

The incident happened near Khatu Shyam Mandir.

All three were returning at around six o'clock. Daksha was standing at Dada's feet while Vidit was sitting on the seat behind Dada. Meanwhile, his scooty was touched by a bike near Khatu Shyam temple. Two youths were riding on the bike. Mohit's brother Sachin told that as soon as Scooty was touched, both of them started quarreling with Prem Prakash. During the altercation, both of them suddenly attacked both of them with an iron rod and fled. Passers-by took Vidit and Prem Prakash to the nearby Triveni Hospital, where Vidit was declared brought dead while Dada was discharged on Thursday after treatment.

On the other hand, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police of Dwarka district said that it was just a road accident. There has been a collision between the bike and the scooty, in which the child and his grandfather were injured. At present, a case of death in a road accident has been registered and investigation has been started. The post-mortem of Vidit's body has also been done on Thursday.
