He resigned from his post after violence and looting in the Caribbean country Haiti. The Prime Minister held an emergency meeting of regional countries. After this meeting, he announced his resignation and appealed to maintain peace and order in the country. At present Haiti is facing the horrors of civil war. The situation is continuously worsening due to civil war. Armed gangs have captured the country's capital.

However, Henry will remain in his post as acting PM till the formation of the new government. Henry said in a message that his government would relinquish power after establishing a transitional council. Haiti needs peace and stability. According to Haiti's PM advisor Jean Junior Joseph, Henry will serve as PM until a new interim government is formed.

Violence continues in Haiti, more than 3.62 lakh people displaced

The situation is continuously worsening due to civil war in the Caribbean country Haiti. Due to the violence spreading in the country, 362,000 Haitians were displaced. Henry arrived in Kenya last week to broker a deal with the aim of restoring peace in the country. The security situation around the airport in Port-au-Prince had deteriorated. He has been in America for the last one week.

America recalled its employees from Haiti

On the other hand, America has recalled many employees from its embassy amid the violence in the Caribbean country Haiti. Haiti is in the grip of civil war. In such a situation, due to increasing violence and emergency, the US Army has recalled many employees from its embassy.

There was a conspiracy to break the jail

Earlier this month, armed gangs had planned a prison break in Haiti's two largest prisons. Due to which thousands of prisoners escaped from the jail. The armed gang also demanded the resignation of its Prime Minister Ariel Henry during this period. Haiti's PM has fled the country and is pleading with the international community for intervention by UN-backed security forces.

Armed gangs capture Haiti's capital

The situation is continuously worsening in the fire of civil war violence in the Caribbean country Haiti. Due to this violence spreading in the country, 3,62,000 Haitians had to be displaced. Armed gangs have captured the country's capital. They are targeting many government buildings including Rashtrapati Bhavan. Bullets are being fired on the streets. A state of emergency has been imposed in Haiti for 72 hours after armed gangs are vandalizing shops and homes.
