ICC T20I Rankings / Virat Kohli Keeps Maintain His Position While KL Rahul Is Promoted

ICC T20I Rankings | Indian captain Virat Kohli has retained his fifth position in the latest ICC T20 International rankings, while wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul has gained a place to be at the sixth position, with 762 points and is in England. K is behind David Malan (888 points), Australia's white-ball captain Aaron Finch (830 points), Pakistan captain Babar Azam (828 points) and New Zealand opener Devon Conway (774 points).

Rahul is in sixth place with 743 points and Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has moved up a place to seventh. Rahul and Kohli are the two Indian batsmen in the top 10. No Indian player is in the top 10 list of bowlers and all-rounders in T20 International rankings. In the ODI rankings, Kohli and vice-captain Rohit Sharma continue to remain in the top five and are second and third respectively after Azam.

Top Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who is in the top 10, has also slipped a place to number six while Ravindra Jadeja is ranked ninth in the all-rounders' list. England all-rounder Chris Woakes rose to a career-best third position on the back of a stellar performance in the three-match ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League series against Sri Lanka. Other England fast bowlers David Willey and Tom Curran have also benefited in the latest ranking update. Willie has jumped 13 places to 37th and Curran has gained 20 places to 68th.
