Assembly By Elections: After the Lok Sabha elections 2024, once again the election season will be seen on Wednesday, July 10. By-elections are being organized on a total of 13 assembly seats in 7 states across the country. Some of the assembly seats on which by-elections are being held were vacated during the Lok Sabha elections. At the same time, the MLA died on some seats. For this reason, by-elections are being organized on these 13 seats.

By-elections on which seats in which state?

The 13 seats on which by-elections are being held on Wednesday include 4 seats in West Bengal, 3 in Himachal Pradesh, 2 in Uttarakhand, 1 in Bihar, 1 in Madhya Pradesh, 1 in Punjab and 1 in Tamil Nadu. Let us tell you that the notification for by-elections on all these seats was issued by the Election Commission on June 14.

  • In Rupauli, RJD's Bima Bharti will face JDU's Kaladhar Mandal.
  • In Bengal's Maniktala, TMC's Supti Pandey will face BJP's Kalyan Chaubey.
  • In Bengal's Raiganj assembly seat, TMC's Krishna Kalyani will face BJP candidate Manas Kumar Ghosh.
  • In Bengal's Bagdah assembly seat, TMC's Madhuparna is facing BJP's Binay Kumar Vishwas.
  • TMC has given ticket to Mukut Mani Adhikari from Bengal's Ranaghat South. At the same time, BJP's Manoj Kumar Vishwas is in the fray.
  • In Amarwara of Madhya Pradesh, BJP's Kamlesh Shah and Congress's Dheeran Shah Inwati are face to face.
