Thieves have committed theft by killing an elderly woman in Jetaran subdivision of Pali district. The elderly woman was living alone in the house. Taking advantage of this, the thieves made a plan to carry out the crime, but on waking up, they escaped after killing them with a sharp weapon.

According to the information, an elderly woman lives alone in the house in Balunda village of Jetaran subdivision. His sons work outside. Thieves entered the woman's house late on Wednesday night with the intention of stealing, during which she woke up and started screaming, fearing to be caught, the thieves killed her with a sharp weapon. The thieves escaped after robbing gold and silver jewelery and other items from the house.

Nearby people saw the gate of the elderly woman's house in the morning, but she did not appear. When he went inside the house, his body was lying on the ground. The police, who reached the information of the people, got the body kept in the mortuary of the Government Hospital, Jetaran. The police team collected evidence from the spot and registered a case of murder and theft. Police say that the accused will be arrested at the earliest.
