Lok Sabha Election: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said on Saturday that the party will announce candidates for the 13 Lok Sabha seats of Punjab in the next two-four days. Delhi CM Kejriwal said that discussions are going on regarding the names of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. He called upon the people to ensure victory of the party on all seats in the state. After inaugurating a total of 165 'Aam Aadmi Clinics' online in Punjab, he said in Jalandhar, 'An announcement will be made in the next two-four days.'

CM Kejriwal again spoke on the issue of 'Punjab Ki Jhanki'

Kejriwal, who was accompanied by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, said, 'If you ensure victory on all 13 seats, you will strengthen the hands of Bhagwant Mann. It is Mann who is fighting the Centre. It is Mann who is fighting only with the Governor and the BJP.' Accusing the BJP-led central government of targeting Punjab, Kejriwal said he was saddened when the central government included Punjab's tableau for the Republic Day parade. Rejected. He said, ‘It was like an insult to the people of Punjab.’

The AAP leader said that last year the Punjab government had to approach the Supreme Court to convene the budget session of the Assembly as the Governor refused to give its approval. Delhi Chief Minister slammed the Center for allegedly withholding Rs 8,000 crore from Punjab. Kejriwal said that if the Center had released funds, more roads would have been constructed, and hospitals and schools would have been built. He said, 'If you give 13 seats, they will be '13 hands' of honor and will fight in Delhi to bring money for you.'

CM Mann targeted BJP and Akali Dal

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, while replying to a question regarding a possible alliance between Shiromani Akali Dal and BJP, said that the alliance was never broken. Taking aim at the Akali Dal, Mann asked whether the party can show its face in the villages after forming an alliance with the BJP, while the farmers' issue is still not resolved. Shiromani Akali Dal had separated from NDA in 2020 over the issue of three agricultural laws. Earlier in the day, Kejriwal inaugurated 165 'Aam Aadmi Clinics' in Punjab. With this, the number of 'Aam Aadmi Clinics' in the state has now increased to 829.
