CM Bhajanlal Sharma: Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officer Yogesh Kumar Srivastava was made Special Officer (OSD) to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Saturday. In this regard, according to the order issued by the Personnel Department on Saturday, Yogesh Kumar Srivastava, who is awaiting posting orders, is transferred/posted to the post of Special Officer, Chief Minister Rajasthan Jaipur with immediate effect in the interest of the state. Srivastava, a 2008 batch RAS officer, was on waiting list (APO) since December 14. Earlier, he was Deputy Secretary to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in New Delhi.

Who is Yogesh Srivastava?

Yogesh Srivastava was born on 1 August 1970 in Dholpur. OSD Yogesh Kumar Srivastava was currently working as AOP (awaiting posting orders). Now he has been appointed to the post of privileged Chief Minister.

Orders for appointing RAS officer Yogesh Kumar Srivastava as OSD to Rajasthan CM have been issued by the Personnel Department on 16 December under the signature of Joint Government Secretary Akshay Godara.

53-year-old OSD Yogesh Kumar Srivastava had passed the RAS exam after completing B.Com and M.Com degrees.

RAS Yogesh has also been the Deputy Secretary to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Rajasthan Governor.

Apart from this, he has also served as Special Assistant to the Minister, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, Jaipur (Shri Ramesh Chand Meena).

Yogesh Srivastava has also been PA to the Chairman of Animal Husbandry Board and Deputy Commissioner in JDA Jaipur and Assistant Collector of Karauli.

4 IAS officers in APO

The Department of Personnel has issued orders to keep four Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers on waiting for posting till further orders. Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Kuldeep Ranka, Secretary to the Chief Minister Gaurav Goyal, Secretary to the Chief Minister Aarti Dogra, Special Secretary to the Chief Minister Rajan Vishal have been kept on waiting for posting orders (APO) till further orders on Saturday.

Swearing in took place yesterday

Bhajanlal Sharma took oath as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan on Friday. After some time, the department gave temporary charge of the Chief Minister's Office to three IAS officers. IAS officer T. Ravikant was given the charge of Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister on Friday, while Anandi was appointed as Secretary to the Chief Minister and Dr. Soumya Jha was temporarily appointed as Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister.
