Nsa Ajit Doval Meeting: The 24th round of Special Representative (SR) level talks took place between India's National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Delhi on Tuesday. In this meeting, both sides discussed the India-China border issue and took steps towards further strengthening bilateral relations. This dialogue has taken place at a time when India and China are completing 75 years of their diplomatic relations, and there are signs of improvement in relations between the two countries.Doval's confidence: Talks will be successfulNSA Ajit Doval said on this occasion, "I am confident that like the last meeting, this 24th Special Representative level talks will be as successful. Our Prime Minister is going to attend the SCO summit soon, and in such a situation this conversation is very important." Referring to the completion of 75 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Doval called it an occasion for celebration. He said that with new energy and enthusiasm, both the countries have made great progress. Doval praised Wang Yi's personal efforts and said that diplomatic teams, a sense of responsibility and the cooperation of the troops deployed on the border have played an important role in achieving this goal.Wang Yi: Obstacles in relations are not in the interestChina's Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on this occasion that he is happy to once again participate in the special representative level border talks in Delhi. He admitted that there were obstacles in the relations between the two countries in the last few years, which were not in the interest of the people of both the countries. However, he described the meeting of President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Kazan in October last year as important and said that it gave a new direction to bilateral relations and provided momentum to the resolution of the border issue.Wang Yi said, "The last 23rd round of special representative talks was very successful. During that time we made new agreements for border management, handling differences and moving towards a solution. Due to these goals and work framework, stability has returned to the border."New phase of improvement in relationsAfter the tense relations between India and China in the last few years, a new phase of improvement in relations has now begun. Doval said, "We have seen an upward trend. Peace and harmony has prevailed on the borders, and our bilateral relations have become stronger." He described this new environment as the basis for progress in various fields.Wang Yi also praised Doval's efforts and said that India-China relations are now at a critical juncture of improvement and progress. He stressed that China attaches great importance to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to China and the SCO summit to be held in Tianjin.Importance of stable relationsWang Yi said, "History and current circumstances prove that good and stable relations between India and China will be beneficial for both countries in the long run." According to him, this is important not only for the two countries, but also for all developing countries. He stressed on working towards further strengthening the relations between the two countries.
