Rajasthan / Wife drugged abusive husband to give electric shocks

A 25-year-old woman, afflicted through her husband’s abusive behaviour, allegedly drugged him to give electric shocks. The husband is being dealt with at a central authority health facility in Bikaner, officers stated. According to sub-inspector Manak Lal of Churu’s Sardar Sahar police station, Mahendra Dan (32), who's being dealt with at PBM health facility, Bikaner, stated in his complaint that his spouse attempted to kill him on August 12.


According to Lal, Dan stated that at around nine pm whilst he returned from work, his spouse came with food. After eating, he lost consciousness and awoke late at night time because of electric powered shocks. His spouse blanketed her palms with polythene baggage and tied strength wires to his legs to give him shocks.


Due to shocks, Dan went subconscious again. On gaining focus the following day, he stated his father and brother informed that his spouse had called them late at night time at around 2 am and informed them that he got an electric shock. His legs had been burnt and he had was tied to the bed, he informed the police.


In the initial investigation, the spouse informed police that his husband is an alcoholic and used to beat her. She stated her brother lately visited them and her husband got into a heated argument together along with her brother after each consumed a little alcohol. She stated she become miffed with the everyday torture and as a result deliberate on giving electric shocks to the husband. The police stated no arrest has been made with inside the case and the probe is on.
