Rajasthan New District: 10 new districts and three more divisions can be created in Rajasthan. The government can take these steps to remove the displeasure of the people and representatives of the towns which were not declared as districts. The government has sought a report from the Ramlubhaya Committee constituted regarding new districts regarding some more districts and divisions. An important meeting regarding this is also going to be held in Jaipur on Thursday between CM Ashok Gehlot and Revenue Minister Ramlal Jat.

After the announcement of 19 districts and 3 divisions, whether there is a possibility of declaring new districts-divisions again, Bhaskar talked to the influential leaders of those areas, who have raised this demand before the Chief Minister himself. Also held talks with retired IAS and Ramlubhaya, chairman of the committee for new districts...

The Ramlubhaya Committee has submitted its interim report, on the basis of which Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had announced 19 new districts and 3 new divisions in the Vidhansabha. After this announcement, people expressed happiness in those cities and towns, which got the gift of district or division, but protests have continued since then in those places, which have not been declared district or division despite many features. to be done.

Even the State's Food and Supplies Minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas has opposed the division of the capital Jaipur into two districts, North and South.

If sources are to be believed, the government is considering making three cities as divisional headquarters and 8 to 10 subdivision headquarters as districts. Apart from this, the situation will also be cleared regarding how to distribute the work of district headquarters between Behror-Kotputli and Didwana-Kuchaman. According to a formula, one district office each will be assigned as SP-Collector office, so that both the cities and towns can be made districts equally.

Dependent on government, can announce whenever it wants: Ramlubhaya

Retired IAS Ramlubhaya, chairman of the government committee, has returned to Jaipur from America. In this regard, Ramlubhaya told Bhaskar on Wednesday that everything depends on the government that which city-town should be made a district. Our job was to recommend districts according to the prescribed criteria.

Ramlubhaya said that about 60 subdivision headquarters were proposed to be made districts, out of which the government made 19 districts. Now the government has asked for information about some other districts as well, they will also be given to the government soon. The final decision will be taken by the government only. After that the process of demarcation of districts etc. will be decided at the level of Revenue Department.

3 new divisions can be made by promoting three of these 5 district headquarters

Till now there were 7 divisions in the state including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, Bikaner, Ajmer and Bharatpur. Recently Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has declared Pali, Banswara and Sikar as three new divisions. Now the demand for making divisional headquarters out of Bhilwara, Nagaur, Barmer, Sawaimadhopur and Chittorgarh has intensified. All these places have influential MLA-ministers in the Congress government and they can get the division announced to secure their political future.

A divisional headquarters has jurisdiction of 3 to 5 districts, 3 to 4 Lok Sabha and about 20-25 assembly seats. According to experts, there will be a direct political impact on these seats. If the state government announces three divisions, then politically Congress can take a psychological edge over the assembly-Lok Sabha seats falling in their administrative area.

Why Bhilwara?

Revenue Minister Ramlal Jat himself is from this district. This district is included in the top 5 revenue giving districts in the state. Its size is going to be reduced by making one of its sub-divisions Shahpura a district. Bhilwara is also the seventh largest city of the state in terms of population. It is situated between Kota, Udaipur and Ajmer divisions at a distance of about 135 to 175 kms. In this case it can be made a division.

Why Nagaur?

This district is one of the largest districts of the state geographically and administratively. This includes 11 assembly seats. Now Didwana-Kuchaman has been declared as a district. It is situated between Bikaner, Ajmer, Jodhpur and Jaipur divisions. In this case it can be made a division.

Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal has advocated many times to make small district and divisional headquarters. Government Deputy Chief Whip Mahendra Chaudhary, who is close to CM Gehlot from this district, has succeeded in making his constituency Kuchaman a district. Now possibly Nagaur division can also be formed.

Why Barmer?

Politically, geographically and administratively, it is included in the 10 largest districts of the country. It is situated between Jodhpur and Udaipur divisions. Now its neighboring district Pali has also been made a division. Balotra, a major subdivision of this district, has been made a district. In such a situation, Barmer can now be made the divisional headquarters.

There are veteran politicians like Hemaram Chowdhary and Harish Chowdhary from the district. With the formation of Balotra district, there has been a demand to make Barmer a division. Congress can get the direct benefit of making it a division.

Why Chittorgarh?

Cooperative Minister Udayalal Anjana is trying to make Chittorgarh a division. Udaipur is situated between Ajmer and Kota divisions. Banswara has also been made a division. There are many areas of Chittorgarh district which are about 150-200 kms from the divisional headquarter Udaipur.

It can be made a division, so that there can be ease in administrative work. The distance between Chittorgarh and Bhilwara is just 55 kms. In such a situation, only one of these two divisions is likely to become the headquarters.

Why Sawai Madhopur?

This district is situated between Kota, Ajmer, Bharatpur, Jaipur divisions. The district is extremely backward. The division headquarter is 150-200 km away from many places in the district. Complete rail-road facilities are here. Congress MLA from here Danish Abrar is also an advisor to Chief Minister Gehlot. CM Gehlot has also praised Danish from the public platform.

Request has been made to make Bhilwara a division: Ramlal Jat

Revenue Minister Ramlal Jat told Bhaskar that the work of demarcation of districts would start soon and would be completed in one and a half to two months. The suggestions and trends being received from some places are also being studied. Work is underway on the recommendations of the Ramlubhaya Committee for the demarcation of the districts. I have requested CM Ashok Gehlot to make Bhilwara the divisional headquarters.

Jat said that a large part of Bhilwara district would be separated from the formation of Shahpura district, in such a situation the political, administrative and industrial importance of Bhilwara can be maintained by making it a divisional headquarters. Bhilwara is a world class industrial center.

Which subdivisions can become 10 new districts

After analysis from experts and information received from sources, Bhaskar has drawn out the details of those areas where there are more possibilities for new districts.

1. Sambhar 2. Phulera 3. Malpura 4. Sujangarh 5. Bhinmal 6. Rawatbhata 7. Khajuwala 8. Sumerpur 9. Nimbahera 10. Jaitaran 11. Khetri 12. Kota South and North 13. Bhiwadi 14. Suratgarh 15. Jhalrapatan

Ministers are not of one mind on Jaipur North-South

The state government may also reconsider the announcement of dividing Jaipur into two north-south districts. Sources say that since it was not demanded by anyone and now protest against it has also started in Jaipur city.

BJP is also making it an issue. Former Civil Lines MLA and Minister Dr. Arun Chaturvedi told Bhaskar that Jaipur is not only the capital of Rajasthan but also a complete cultural-religious identity in itself. The whole city is built on the principles of architecture. Even a small dome cannot be changed here. People are uniting.

Arun Chaturvedi told that our message has reached the government. Jaipur will remain the same from Amer to Sanganer. This is our main demand. Top politico-administrative institutions like Vidhansabha-Secretariat are also located in Jaipur. In such a situation, dividing Jaipur into two parts is futile. The idea of Jaipur North-South is not correct. Yes, rest of the district can be named as Jaipur Rural, Greater, Vistar etc.

Government ministers also angry on dividing Jaipur into two parts

Meanwhile, Food Minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas has expressed his displeasure over Jaipur North-South. They say that the announcement has just been made. A solution will be found by talking to CM Gehlot.

However, according to Congress MLA from Jaipur and Water Supply Minister Dr. Mahesh Joshi, there is no dispute anywhere. Still, if any strong public sentiment regarding Jaipur North-South comes to the fore, then CM Gehlot will be informed about it. The final decision is in his hands only.

Jaipur with 6 Lok Sabha and 20 Assembly seats will be the most important in the elections

The announcement to make Jaipur North, Jaipur South, Kotputli, Dudu and Behror districts has been made recently. Of these, Dudu Ajmer, Chaumun Sikar and Behror come under Alwar Lok Sabha constituency. Apart from these, Jamwa Ramgarh, Jhotwara, Amer, Biratnagar, Kotputli, Shahpura, Phulera and Bagru come under Jaipur Rural Lok Sabha constituency.

Civil Lines, Malviya Nagar, Adarsh Nagar, Hawamahal, Sanganer, Vidyadhar Nagar, Kishanpole come under Jaipur City Lok Sabha. On the other hand, Bassi Assembly Constituency is in Dausa Lok Sabha Constituency. In such a situation, the districts of Jaipur North-South, Kotputli, Dudu, Behror are very important according to the upcoming assembly-Lok Sabha elections. According to sources, any new change is also possible in these including Jaipur North and South.

Happiness in 19 towns and displeasure in 41

In the Ramlubhaya Committee, 60 towns had demanded to be made district headquarters, but 19 have been announced to be made districts. In such a situation, in cities and towns where districts have not been made, these days sit-in demonstrations are going on by many organizations.

Towns like Sambhar, Sujangarh and Malpura have facilities of government offices, courts, factories, road-rail, trade, etc. to become a district since the British Raj. Dharna-demonstrations, fast unto death etc. are going on continuously there. Bhiwadi in Alwar district has already been declared as a separate district with Superintendent of Police. There the Superintendent of Police (SP) is different from Alwar, but it has not been declared as a district.

Similarly, despite being a bigger town than Sanchore, Bhinmal has not been declared as a district (both in Jalore district). Similarly, Bhilwara, which is the seventh largest city in terms of population in the state, has not been declared as a division, while Bharatpur division has been formed and Sikar, Banswara and Pali have been declared.

District headquarters Barmer, which has a distance of 200-250 kilometers between the district headquarters and subdivision headquarters, has not been declared as a division. In such a situation, people and organizations everywhere are conveying their demands to CM Ashok Gehlot through their public representatives, but in the meantime some organizations and people can also take shelter of the court.
