Lok Sabha Elections / Will not allow reservation for Muslims on the basis of religion - PM Modi's big statement

Lok Sabha Elections: The issue of reservation is continuously heated in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Congress is accusing Bharatiya Janata Party that the party will end reservation by changing the Constitution. At the same time, BJP and PM Modi are also targeting Congress for giving reservation to Muslims on the basis of religion. Now PM Modi has made another attack on Congress on the issue of reservation. In a strong attack on Congress, the PM said that as long as he is alive, he will not allow reservation for Dalits, tribals and Other Backward Classes (OBC) to be given to Muslims on the basis of religion.

Muslims were categorized as OBC overnight - PM Modi

Attacking Congress, PM Modi said that in undivided Andhra Pradesh, the party had made the state a laboratory of appeasement by giving backward class reservation to Muslims. The PM said that 26 castes in Telangana have been demanding OBC status for a long time but Congress did not approve it but overnight categorized Muslims as OBC.

Congress has repeatedly insulted the Constitution - PM Modi

PM Modi also accused Congress of attacking the Constitution in Zaheerabad. The PM said that Congress has repeatedly insulted the Constitution. Pictures of Ramayana and Mahabharata were removed from the Constitution written by Bhim Rao Ambedkar. The PM reminded that Rahul Gandhi's grandmother Indira Gandhi shattered the Constitution and imposed emergency in the country and put lakhs of people in jail.

Five political principles of Congress

PM Modi also alleged that if Congress comes to power, it will impose inheritance tax. After the death of the parents, the children will take more than half and 55 percent of the property. PM Modi further said that whenever the Congress party has been in power, it has had five political principles - false promises, vote bank politics, supporting mafia and criminals, dynastic politics and corruption.
