Sri Lanka won the toss in this match and decided to field first against India.

Although the start of the Indian team was not good, Smriti Mandhana was dismissed after scoring just six runs. Shafali Verma and Yastika Bhatia then took over the innings. At one point the score was one wicket at 89 and in no time it became four for 94. Shafali contributed 49 and Yastika contributed 30 runs. Apart from Harmanpreet, Pooja Vastrakar scored 56 not out. In this way, India scored 255 runs for 9 wickets in 50 overs. In reply, Sri Lankan team was all out for 216 runs in 47.3 overs.
