UP Government: There is good news for government employees in Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a big Diwali gift to all the state employees. CM Yogi Adityanath has announced that dearness allowance at the rate of 46% of the basic salary will be provided to all state employees, aided educational and technical educational institutions, urban bodies, UGC employees, work charged employees and pensioners.

Announcing on 'X', CM Yogi said that similarly, all state employees (non-gazetted)/work charged employees, teachers, non-teaching employees and daily wage workers will be provided a bonus equal to 30 days' emoluments (maximum limit Rs 7,000). It has been decided to do so.

Dearness allowance equal to that of central employees

Let us tell you that on October 18, dearness allowance of central employees was increased from 42 percent to 46 percent. The expectations of the state employees had also increased due to the decision of the Central Government. Now the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has given gifts to the employees before Diwali. Dearness allowance of state employees has also become equal to that of central employees. The increased DA will be applicable from July 1. It is being said that the employees and pensioners will also get the arrears of the previous period.

Last time DA increase was approved on May 15.

Now once again Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given great happiness to the state employees before Diwali. Government employees are being given dearness allowance at the rate of 42 percent along with the basic salary from January 1, 2023.
