Lok Sabha Elections: A few days are left for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Before that, a large number of leaders from other parties are joining Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Meanwhile, in Madhya Pradesh, around 1.26 lakh people joined the ruling BJP on Saturday. A senior party leader made this claim in Bhopal. Former minister and senior BJP leader Narottam Mishra claimed that more than 2.58 lakh people joined BJP in the last three months.

"More than 90 percent people from Congress"

Narottam Mishra is leading the party team which is handling the responsibility of including new people. "More than 1.26 lakh people, including Congress, social organizations and others, joined the BJP in a single day," he said. Mishra said that during the last three months, more than 2.58 lakh people joined BJP in Madhya Pradesh. He said, "More than 90 percent of those who joined BJP are from Congress and the rest are retired employees, officers. Apart from this, they are from social organizations working in various fields."

Congress MLA from Ghatiya three times

The former minister said that these people have joined BJP after being influenced by the personality of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the development work done under his leadership and nationalism. He said Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and BJP state unit chief V.D. Sharma welcomed all of them into the party. Earlier in the day, Congress leader Ramlal Malviya, a three-time MLA from Ghatiya in Ujjain district, along with several other office-bearers joined the party at the BJP state headquarters in the presence of the Chief Minister and the state president.
