New Delhi : The rate of infection is increasing continuously with the cases of corona in Delhi. On Wednesday, this figure reached close to 26 percent. At the same time, 40 corona patients died in Delhi in the last 24 hours, which is the highest since June 11, 2020. Not only this, the number of active patients of Corona has gone above 87 thousand.

According to the Health Department of Delhi, 27,561 new cases of corona were reported on Wednesday while 14,957 patients were discharged. So far 16,17,716 people have been corona infected in Delhi. Of these, 15,05,031 patients have been cured. At the same time, 25,240 patients have died. The death rate from corona in Delhi has come down to 1.56 percent.

Active patients were 87,445

According to the department, the active corona patients in Delhi have increased to 87,445. Out of these 56,991 patients are admitted in home isolation, 590 patients in Kovid Care Center, 39 patients in Kovid Health Center and 2264 patients are admitted in various hospitals of Delhi.
