Kerala : Gradually, now monkeypox is spreading rapidly in India. In this episode, the fifth case of monkeypox has come to light in Kerala. It has been told by the Ministry of Health that the patient who returned from UAE has been found infected with monkeypox. With this, the number of monkeypox patients in the country has now gone up to seven.

In fact, news agency ANI has reported, quoting the Ministry of Health, that a person returned from UAE in Kerala has been found infected with monkeypox. According to the information, Kerala Health Minister Veena George told on Tuesday that the youth found infected is undergoing treatment in Malappuram. He has reached Kozhikode airport from UAE on 27th July.

This is the fifth case from Kerala when a person died of monkeypox in Kerala on Saturday. He too had recently come back from UAE. Monkeypox virus was found in his test report. Along with this, twenty people have been isolated in Trichur after the death of a person with monkeypox-like symptoms on Monday.

On the other hand, the second case of monkeypox has come to light in the capital Delhi on Monday. According to sources, the infection has been confirmed in a citizen of African origin, he was admitted to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital for treatment two days ago when he was suspected, which has been confirmed to be monkeypox in the report on Monday afternoon.

Along with this, sources said that on Sunday and Monday also suspects of African origin have been admitted to the hospital for treatment, whose report is yet to come. The suspects have fever and skin problems. These patients have been living in Delhi for the last one year.
