Mumbai Airport / Accident at Mumbai Airport - Chartered plane coming from Visakhapatnam slipped on the runway

Mumbai Airport: An accident took place at Mumbai Airport on Thursday. A private aircraft slipped on the runway. This accident happened during landing. It is being told that this accident happened due to bad weather. Due to rain, visibility at the time of landing was 700 meters. There were 6 passengers and two crew members on board the plane. 2 passengers have been taken out of the plane and taken to the hospital. There is no information about any casualties. The flight was coming from Visakhapatnam to Mumbai. This accident happened on runway 27. The airport is currently closed for operations and is under inspection.

VSR Ventures Learjet 45 aircraft VT-DBL flight was traveling from Vizag (Visakhapatnam) to Mumbai and skidded off the runway during landing. The accident happened at 5:02 pm. The aircraft belongs to Bhopal based company Dilip Blidcon.

Plane skids on domestic airport runway

According to the latest information, this accident happened on runway number 27 near gate number 5 at the domestic airport. There was more slippage on the runway due to rain, hence the plane slipped during landing. Three people have been injured in the accident and have been sent to the hospital.

As soon as the plane slipped on the runway, the fire brigade team deployed at Mumbai Airport came into active mode. To prevent the plane from catching fire, water was sprayed from all sides on the plane. The chartered plane suffered a lot of damage in the accident. People trapped in the plane were evacuated. Three people were injured in this incident and have been admitted to the hospital.
