Delhi Politics: After Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, now the team of Delhi Crime Branch has reached the house of Education Minister Atishi. Earlier on February 3, this team had reached Arvind Kejriwal's house to give him notice. Amidst the ongoing political affairs of Jharkhand, Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi had accused the BJP government of buying their party's MLAs and conducting Operation Lotus 2.0 in Delhi.

Education Minister Atishi has asked his CAP officials to receive this notice from the Crime Branch. Atishi has been in Chandigarh for many days. Earlier on February 2 also, the Crime Branch team had reached Atishi's house but due to Atishi not being in Delhi, the team returned. According to Delhi Police sources, the Crime Branch team is waiting for Atishi's OSD. On arrival of OSD, he will be asked to meet Atishi and if Atishi is not found even after waiting, notice can also be served to OSD.

What is the matter?

This matter started when Atishi along with Arvind Kejriwal during a press conference had accused BJP of toppling the government by luring Aam Aadmi Party MLAs with Rs 25 crores. Along with this, Atishi said, he had made a similar attempt last year to win over AAP MLAs by offering them money, but he failed. BJP had given a complaint to the Delhi Commissioner to investigate these allegations, after which the responsibility of investigating this matter was given to the Crime Branch. In this notice issued by the Crime Branch, evidence has been demanded for the allegations made against BJP.

The dramatic incident lasted for 5 hours

On February 3, the Crime Branch team stayed at Kejriwal's house for 5 hours, during which dramatic incidents continued throughout the time, after which the notice was served to him. A Delhi Police officer said, we have served him (Kejriwal) a notice. He can reply in writing within three days. Also, in this notice, he has been asked to give the names of those MLAs who have claimed that BJP has contacted them. Even on the evening of 2 February, the team had reached his house with the notice but Kejriwal's officials had refused to receive it.

Kejriwal tweeted

After receiving the notice from Arvind Kejriwal, he posted on his social media account, in which he wrote, I sympathize with this police officer of the crime branch. What is their fault? Their job is to stop crime in Delhi, but instead of stopping crime, this kind of drama is being done. That is why crime is increasing so much in Delhi. Their political masters are asking me that which of your MLAs were tried to break? But you know more than me? You know everything? Why only Delhi, do you know which MLAs from other parties and which governments were toppled in the last few years across the country? Then why this drama?
