Anantnag / After namaz, stone pelting outside the mosque, targeted the security forces

Incident of stone pelting has come to the fore on the occasion of Eid in South Kashmir. Stones were pelted outside a mosque after morning prayers in district Anantnag. It is being told that people threw stones at the security forces. A large number of people had reached the mosque to offer Namaz. Last year, due to Corona infection, such a large number of people did not reach to offer Namaz. But this time the cases of corona are less and people offered Namaz together.


Eid festival is being celebrated across the country on Tuesday when the moon is sighted on Monday. People of Muslim society all over the country including the state offered Namaz together and prayed to Allah during Namaz and prayed for the well being of the country. After the namaz, people hugged each other and greeted Eid.


At the same time, Eid prayers were offered in various mosques and places of worship in Jammu and Kashmir division. Thousands of hands raised in prayer prayed for peace and progress. The main Eid prayers were offered in the morning in other mosques including at Idgah on Residency Road in Jammu city. People started arriving in mosques and places of worship since morning. Tight security arrangements have been made around the mosques in both the divisions regarding Eid.


Ghulam Nabi Azad's big statement on Jammu and Kashmir elections

Senior Congress leader and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad offered Eid prayers at a mosque on Parliament Street. During this, while addressing the journalists, he said that if elections are held in Kashmir and power is given in the hands of the people, then he is confident that everything will be fine. He also said that it is a matter of great relief that the country is now recovering from the corona virus. He also prayed for the removal of hatred among the people on this occasion.
