Cricket | Irfan Pathan, a former Indian cricketer, has been accused of an illicit relationship with his daughter-in-law by an elder who retired from the Police Department of Ahmedabad. The complainant family has also shared a video about the case, which is becoming fiercely viral on social media. The elderly couple alleges that Irfan is banging his son and misusing his access. Police have registered an FIR against the elderly Syed Ibrahim and his wife for threatening to come to the police station and commit suicide.

According to the news of 'Dainik Bhaskar', according to information received from the Vejlupar police station in Ahmedabad, Ibrahimbhai's daughter-in-law filed a complaint against her entire family on 11 March 2021 in a dowry harassment case. The police is still investigating. Ibrahimbhai said that he is being implicated in a false case and his daughter-in-law's affair has been going on for a long time before Irfan. According to Ibrahimbhai's son Syed, Irrfan and his wife had an illicit relationship before marriage. He told that his wife seems to be Irrfan's cousin and the two have known each other for a long time. Syed said that Irrfan even takes his wife on a sneak peek and the two often talk on video calls.

According to the police, Ibrahimbhai and his family are questioning the girl's character in order to weaken the case after the daughter-in-law filed a dowry harassment complaint. Irfan got the girl married to himself in this family. However, there has been no response from Irfan Pathan in this matter so far. The elderly couple went to the police station and threatened to commit suicide by making a video, due to which a case has been registered against them.
