Delhi / Air India flight to San Francisco catches fire at Delhi airport

The Air India Delhi to San Francisco flight caught fire in Auxiliary Power Unit at Delhi airport. The fire started during AC repair when the plane was empty. The incident took place while the aircraft was still at the bay. The aircraft, Boeing B777-200LR (VT-ALF), was bound for a flight to San Francisco. Air India authorities have said that maintenance work was going on and added that there was no passenger on plane.
