Gandhinagar: Lines of flashing lights were seen in the sky in Junagadh, Gujarat last night, creating panic among the people there and sparking speculations of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). However, Gujarat Council of Science and Technology (GUJCOST) advisor Narottam Sahu rubbished the claim of the theory that the glowing light is a UFO.According to advisor Sahu, the sighting of such a light may not mean UFO, but can also be due to a satellite passing through low Earth orbit. News agency ANI reported that in the videos and photographs of the incident, around four to seven bright lights can be seen flashing together in a row across the sky.
He said, 'In Saurashtra region, people saw 30-40 mysterious lights flickering in a straight line. This created curiosity and fear among the people of the area due to blind faith. Although according to space science, there can be many reasons for such light. It was either a small part of the meteorite that entered the Earth's surface, or it could be part of a shooting.People were surprised to see the mysterious lightsThe GUJCOST advisor further said, 'But, it especially looked like several lights in a row, so it could be due to some satellites passing through low Earth orbit. There are more than 3000 satellites operating in low earth orbit.Could this be the truth?He also said that when Elon Musk's SpaceX launched the Falcon rocket, similar scenes were seen from many places in the United States. It's definitely some satellites. Not to worry.
