Lok Sabha Elections: Bharatiya Janata Party has announced candidates for two important seats of Uttar Pradesh, Kaiserganj and Rae Bareli. BJP has declared Karan Bhushan Singh, son of sitting MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, as its candidate from Kaiserganj. At the same time, the party has given ticket to Dinesh Singh from Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat. There were already speculations that BJP may cancel the ticket of sitting MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh in Kaiserganj. On Thursday, news also came out that BJP high command talked to Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh regarding Kaiserganj Lok Sabha. After which the ticket has now been announced.

Recently, Brij Bhushan Singh had hinted to BJP that if the party does not give him the ticket then he can look for other options. He had blamed the media for the delay in the decision to field him again from Kaiserganj seat. On the delay in tickets, he had said, this is my concern, not yours, my ticket is getting delayed because of you.

Dinesh Singh had lost to Sonia Gandhi in 2019

BJP had fielded Dinesh Singh from Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. However, Dinesh had to face defeat at the hands of former Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Dinesh Pratyar Singh is also a minister in the Yogi government. He was once a leader close to Sonia Gandhi.

Female wrestlers have accused of sexual exploitation

Why did BJP give ticket to his son?

In such a situation, BJP has considered it better and more appropriate to give ticket to Brij Bhushan Singh's son Karan instead of him. However, even before the announcement of the ticket, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh was campaigning vigorously. He had said that whoever contests from Kaisarangaj on BJP ticket will reach Parliament after winning with bumper votes.
