AAP MLA Protest: The Aam Aadmi Party government of Delhi has announced that all the MLAs of his party will stay in the assembly tonight and will oppose the Lieutenant Governor. AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj said that tonight all AAP MLAs will remain in the house. The Aam Aadmi Party has accused the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Vinay Saxena (VK Saxena) of a scam of 1400 crores during the demonetisation. Saurabh Bhardwaj said that in the evening all the MLAs would sit under the Mahatma Gandhi statue and would protest against the Lieutenant Governor by staying in the assembly all night.

In the Delhi Assembly on Monday, Aam Aadmi Party MLA Durgesh Pathak had alleged that Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena had committed a scam of Rs 1400 crore while being the chairman of Khadi Village Industries. The party said in its allegations that Vinay Kumar Saxena, while being the chairman of Khadi Village Industries, committed a scam by converting old notes into new ones in November 2016 at the time of demonetisation. A scam of 1400 crores was done in the name of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation.

Allegations of scam leveled against the Lieutenant Governor

Durgesh Pathak said that during demonetisation, when the businesses of lakhs of people were destroyed and people lost their jobs, the Lt Governor was busy doing a scam of 1400 crores. Those who exposed the scam of LG Vinay Saxena were very poor, but they did not lose heart. Complained in every forum and said that wrong work is being done to us. Despite this, the accused himself presided over the investigation. Both the complainants were suspended and their corrupt associates were promoted.

Demanded the removal of LG from the post

Durgesh Pathak has demanded that the ED should be raided against the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. This is a case of money laundering and corruption. He has no right to continue in the post of LG till the time the investigation against the Lieutenant Governor is done. He should be removed from the post of Lieutenant Governor. AAP MLAs also protested fiercely in the Delhi Assembly against LG Vinay Kumar Saxena regarding this matter. On these allegations, AAP MLAs also issued statements of two cashiers who exposed this matter related to Khadi Village Industries.

The statements of two cashiers were also issued.

Sanjeev Kumar, head cashier of Khadi Village Industries' sales center, said that I accepted old notes of 500 and 1000 rupees at the behest of the building manager. He said that the chairman's order was that if the bank is taking notes, then deposit it. When I refused the manager, the manager said that there is pressure from above chairman Vinay Kumar Saxena. If not, the chairman will get angry. I got very scared about this. Because 5 days before demonetisation, the chairman had transferred 2 staff of the building to Goa and Jaipur. So in compulsion I did this work. Which was already known to most of the staff of the building.

What did the cashier say in his statement?

He said that for this work every day manager Ajay Gupta would call me in the sales room and give it to exchange old 500-1000 notes. During this, you would say that you exchange notes to Ajay Gupta every day and give them. Whatever unreasonable act I did, it was done under the pressure of manager AK Garg and AK Garg has full responsibility for it. I solemnly say that it is not my fault in this. I was depositing cash in the bank with a very sad heart. After taking his leave, his junior Pradeep Kumar Yadav was made head cashier. Pradeep Yadav was working as head cashier in my absence. The entire blame lies with the building manager and Ajay Gupta.

The cashier made these allegations

During this, another cashier Pradeep Kumar Yadav's statement was also issued in which he said that demonetisation was done on November 8. After November 9, we did not accept old notes from customers. Whatever notes have been deposited were deposited by the counter cashier. The new notes used to go to the head cashier. After this the notes were exchanged in the head cash cabin by Ajay Kumar Gupta as per the orders of AK Garg. After this, the cashier used to deposit those notes in the bank. AK Garg called us to his cabin in the evening before working on head cash and asked us to exchange the notes. We said Sir, there should be no problem, then he said that this order is from Chairman Vinay Kumar Saxena, there is nothing to worry about, we are there.

"Threatened Work"

Pradeep Kumar Yadav said in the statement that this work was done by giving pressure from the cashier. AK Garg told us that it is already accumulating, there is no reason to worry. Ajay Gupta used to bring old notes and used to take new notes. The head cashier used to deposit the old notes in the bank. This act was called with intimidation (do as I am told). Whatever I am saying above words, I am saying completely truth. I am making this statement with full conscious awareness. I am not giving it under any pressure.

"He presided over the investigation against whom the allegations were made"

On this, AAP MLA Durgesh Pathak said that both of them are cashiers of a branch. He told that after demonetisation, about 22 lakh rupees have been manipulated from our branch. New notes have been given by replacing the old notes. In this way, there are about 7000 branches of Khadi Village Industries all over the country. If you calculate it, then there is corruption of more than 1400 crores. Both of them were very scared, but they did not lose heart. He complained about it at every level in the country. After that investigation took place. It is the misfortune of this country that he presided over the investigation against whom the allegations were made. In such a situation, both these cashiers were suspended and AK Garg and Ajay Kumar Gupta were promoted. He gave the entire Rajasthan to one.

"Those who exposed the scam were suspended"

Durgesh Pathak alleged that this is a scam of Rs 1400 crore. All cases were covered up. Case was also registered in CBI. The biggest thing is that the name of Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena was not even written in the CBI. The CBI neither did any raids nor did any interrogation. Such a big scam happened but no action was taken. Only those who exposed this scam were suspended.

AAP MLAs made this demand

AAP MLAs said that we demand that Vinay Kumar Saxena's name should be included in the CBI FIR. There should be ED raid against them. The whole matter is money laundering. There should be an inquiry against LG. Due to the uproar and demonstration of AAP MLAs inside and outside the house in the assembly, the proceedings of the house had to be adjourned for four times and seeing the commotion increasing, the proceedings of the assembly had to be adjourned till the next day.

BJP said – they keep making false allegations

On these allegations leveled by AAP MLAs on LG, BJP MLA Vijender Gupta said that LG has returned 47 files without CM's signature, Chief Minister is not even signing Huh. The file will go to the LG and there will be no signature of the head of the government. In this way, they keep making false allegations on the basis of facts.
